Tea time: Fabric cupcakes, cookies and tea

A few posts back, I wrote about some fabric fruits and veggies I made for my youngest niece. The pattern I used also had cupcakes, but at the time I didn't use them. My other niece (her older sister) likes play tea sets, so I decided to do the cupcakes for her. :) I also bought her a pink and purple tea set to go with it. The cookies and tea bags were not part of the pattern I used. I just found the idea online and thought I'd give them a go. I like the way they turned out! And it was so easy! Much easier than the fruit. ;) Still, it was a lot of hand-stitching! I hope she likes them. :) Oh...and I used the 5th photo for today's pic in my 365 project.

Strings

Here are today's leftover photos from my 365 project. Our guitars were sitting out looking all cute, so I wanted to take a few snaps of them. :)

Ice, Colorful bowls and Chickys

Here are today's leftover photos from my 365 project. I wanted to mess around with ice, so there are a couple ice pics. Then a photo of some Colombiana soda. The next ones are some colorful, stacking bowls I have. And the last group of photos are of Chickys cookies. They are Costa Rican cookies that are sooo good. Bye!

Piranhas, Beads, and Fake sunsets

Hi. Here are my leftover pictures from toady's 365 project. The first set of photos are things from Brazil. My dad has gone twice and my mom, once to Brazil. They've brought back little things with them each time including REAL piranhas (they have been turned into keychains and have some glossy coating and googly eyes! Haha! But they are real.) Beads, containers, bowls, vases, blankets...the list goes on. I took some pictures of a few of these things at my Dad's house today. The piranhas crack me up because of the eyes. And the funny photo with a fork and spoon was my dad's idea. Hehe. I guess they are a little bit gross looking too...

The last few photos are an experiment with color and photo-shop. The sunset was so pretty today, so I decided to pull over on the side of the road to get some snaps of it, but by the time I got to it, it wasn't the same and I wasn't super thrilled with the photos, so I just decided to experiment with them. :) These two "groupings" of photos are pretty strange together, but that's how I roll. So I hope you enjoy it. Blessings!!

Frozen Ohio

Hello! Here are today's leftover photos from my 365 project. :) It's snowing a lot today, so I decided to go out and see what I could capture. The snow was coming down so heavily that my camera was getting wet, so I didn't get a lot of shots. But here are the ones I did get.

Naptime, Love by the Atlantic and Birdies

Today's leftover photo's from the 365 project. I'm sleepy today and my couch looked really nice and cozy...so for the first photo, I decided to try and capture the desire I have to crawl into it and get all comfy. :) The second photo is my attempt to show how cold it is outside and how much I want to stay inside. Third photo is a painting I did called "Love by the Atlantic". It's Marco (my husband) and I on Tybee island, falling in love by the Atlantic ocean. ^_^ The last photos are some little glass, birdie candle holders I have. I just love the colors of them and have sortof used those colors in my entire home. Today's theme: warm and cozy. :)

Sugar, Bling and Kisses

Hi. Here are today's leftover pictures from my 365 project. The first picture is cotton candy sugar I saw sitting at my mom and dad's house. They bought a cotton candy machine to use with their 3 granddaughters (my nieces) and I thought these little separate containers of sugar made a colorful photo opportunity. :) The other photos are little glimpses of my bedroom and dresser. The photo strip on the last picture is me and my adorable husband during the week of our honeymoon. ^_^ Fun, girly stuff. Bye!
